Sidner Ice Arena is excited to offer another season of Intro to Hockey, running October 2 through November 20. This 8-week program helps kids build confidence on the ice while learning the essential skills of the game—all in a fun and supportive environment.

Is your child interested in learning the basic skills to play hockey? Would you like them to try hockey before committing to a league? If so, this is the perfect program. Our experienced coaches will teach the fundamentals of skating, stick handling, shooting, and passing—everything needed to participate in the sport of hockey.

Once your child has completed a session, our coaches and directors will be happy to help you decide whether your player is ready to join the league or would benefit from another session of Intro to Hockey.

PROGRAM DETAILS
• Cost: $175 per session (8 weeks + game day)
• Ages: Open to youth ages 4–12
• Equipment: All gear is provided if needed (email angiewyle@fremontflyers.org to set up a time to get fitted)
• Class Size: Limited to 40 participants

SCHEDULE
• Thursdays, 5:05–5:40 PM
October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30  |  November 6, 13, 20
• Game Day: Saturday, November 15 (8:30/9:45 AM)

STRUCTURE
• Weeks 1–3: Skating skills and edgework
• Weeks 4–7: Stick handling, shooting, passing, and hockey basics
• Week 8: Full-ice Intro to Hockey game!
